English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program
(est. 1998)
We offer six classes of English for adult language learners with three levels:
Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced
We also offer supplemental classes for all students enrolled in an ESOL class:
Citizenship and Basic Computer Skills
Schedule:
-
ESOL classes meet twice a week. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays.
-
Supplemental classes meet once a week on Wednesdays.
-
All classes meet at Randolph High School from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
-
We follow the same school calendar as Randolph public schools so we observe the same holiday/vacation schedule as well as snow days.
Enrollment: To enroll in the ESOL program, which is offered free of charge, prospective students must come in for a placement test to assess reading/writing and speaking/listening skills. The test results are used to determine the best class for the student; there is no good or bad score. When the student's level is set, he/she will be placed on the waitlist under the appropriate class level.
*The current wait time for a class slot is usually six months to a year. It is best to add your name to our wait list since we fill any open slots from the wait list.
